Jeani had a late meeting, so Liam and I had dinner at Kim Huong - one of our fave restaurants.

John Doe & Kathleen Edwards

without comments

Good friend, Timmy Knight (Guitar Castle), called this morning to let me know that his friend, John Doe (yes, that John Doe) would be stopping by his shop. John is currently touring with Kathleen Edwards. They will be in Seattle tonight, and Portland tomorrow.

I saw X last back in the late ’80s. Definitely, one of my favorite bands. Needless to say, when TK asked me if I could come by with my camera, there was no hesitation.

John Doe.

These photos are part of a new personal project that I’m beginning. I referred to this project while ruminating about using medium format.

Most recent shots from the Koni-Omega

with 3 comments

LiamRoxyJoshCHC

These are the most recent shots from my Koni-Omega medium format camera. I’m happy with the results, but I’ll have more to say about the process in another post. With no meter, I’m most satisfied that I can pretty much figure out the proper settings for a more or less accurate exposure.
